Small Business Cohort

A 6-week program for aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs

The Small Business Cohort is a structured, six-week course designed to help individuals turn business ideas into viable, fundable ventures. This cohort-based program combines practical instruction, hands-on planning, and real-world preparation for entrepreneurs ready to take the next step.

Participants will receive guided support in developing the foundational elements of a successful business, including financial readiness, planning, marketing, and presentation skills.

What the Small Business Cohort Covers:

  • Financial planning for small business owners

  • Writing a clear, workable business plan

  • Developing a marketing strategy aligned with your target audience

  • Understanding personal and business credit and its impact on starting a business

  • Preparing a compelling sales pitch

As part of the program, participants will develop an award-winning 5-7 minute business presentation that will be presented to a panel of judges. Judges will vote to provide seed funding to selected participants.

Seed funding amounts will vary based on available sponsorship funds.
